Philippines-based gaming agency Tier One Entertainment and its esports brand Blacklist International announced on Thursday (23 November) that they have parted ways with co-founder Alodia Gosiengfiao.

In a post on her official Facebook page, Gosiengfiao said that her exit from Tier One Entertainment was due to her "visions and values" no longer being in alignment with that of the company.

"It is with a heavy heart that I bid Tier One Entertainment farewell. The journey we shared in building the company has been both challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned," said Gosiengfiao.

"I am grateful for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments we’ve achieved together."

Tier One Entertainment expressed their gratitude to Gosiengfiao for her contributions to the company in their own statement.

"It is essential for everyone to find a place where their values align and their vision can flourish. We wish you all the best in your next chapter," said Tier One.

"There is no reality where Tier One Entertainment would have reached the heights we have reached without you. You are an unwavering beacon of excellence, and continue to be an inspiration to cosplayers, content creators, and our industry as a whole. We are truly grateful for the time and dedication you have given us over the years. In the Philippines and around the world, you are undeniably one of one."

Gosiengfiao, known for being a prolific cosplayer and content creator, co-founded Tier One Entertainment in April 2017 alongside Filipino esports stalwart Tryke Gutierrez and entrepreneur Brian Lim. Gosiengfiao was designated as Tier One Entertainment's Chief Commercial Officer while Gutierrez headed the company as Chief Executive Officer and Lim was assigned managing director.

Tier One Entertainment established itself as the Philippines' first gaming and esports talent agency, recruiting esports casters, cosplayers, and gaming content creators to its roster of talents. It would also establish a presence in other Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

In 2020, Tier One Entertainment launched its iconic esports brand Blacklist International by absorbing the roster of EVOS to compete in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Blacklist International's MLBB roster would go on to become a dominant force in MLBB, winning the M3 World Championship in 2021 and finishing second in the M4 World Championship in January this year.

Aside from MLBB, Blacklist International has also competed in Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Garena Free Fire.
