Built with Master Grade solid flamed Blackwood and shaped into a Grand Auditorium body shape, The Black Tree boasts a perfect balance between tonal spectrum, superb body resonance, and artistic aesthetics.

“Little Forest Angel” is a name given to a bird commonly known as the Fairy Pitta. Also called the ‘Eight-Colored Bird’, this small and brightly colored bird is native to East Asian countries and is most recognizable for its plumage of eight different colors reminiscent of a rainbow. Sadly, due to recent habitat disruption, trapping and hunting, and human disturbances, the population of Fairy Pittas has been on a constant decline leading to a classification of the species as vulnerable. It is our hope that we may contribute to raising awareness of the critical condition of this beautiful yet endangered species by commemorating and visualizing the bird in its natural habitat on our special acoustic guitar.

The new Flow Series is the result of expertly carried out research and tests to launch an innovative guitar series most suited for fingerstyle artists and enthusiasts. The OM body sized Flow-OC features a 25.5”(648㎜) neck scale with 1 3/4”(44.5㎜) nut width widely regarded as the ‘golden standard’ among fingerstyle players for its optimal string spacing and string tension. And with its completely redesigned asymmetric neck profile, the playing experience is more comfortable yet faster and facilitates more versatility than ever. The solid red cedar top combined with solid- mahogany back and sides provides deep and warm lows and mids with clean tone definition in the highs, and the use of L.R. Baggs® Anthem dual source system ensures lively and natural tones for any style of playing when plugged in.

The Gold-A6 and Gold-OC6 receives a special enhancement for its sides and back: a gorgeous exotic tonewood named Bocote. Bocote is best known for its majestic wood grain patterns in yellow, orange and dark brown colors with distinct black lines, but it is also known for its warm and deep sound much like rosewood. The rest of the Gold-OC6 Bocote remains the same with outstanding features like the ATV (Aged-to-Vintage) torrefied top, sonically enhanced UV finish, and Fishman® Flex Blend system, and with the introduction of the new Bocote option, our most popular Gold Series guitar is now more enticing than ever.

Cort continues the same effort with the introduction of Core-GA Blackwood and Core-DC Mahogany, Core-PE Mahogany, a new body style all-solid acoustic guitar that follows the same discipline and focus that made the previous Core Series so much more enjoyable and valuable.

Our Frank Gambale Signature model, the Luxe, receives an update on the electronics and now features Fishman® Flex Blend. We carefully tested various pickup and preamp options with Frank and finally decided on Fishman® Flex Blend, which Frank described it as “powerful and rich with crystal clear tones!” The beautiful design and specs of LUXE remain the same that was built meticulously based on ideas that emerged from Frank’s incredible career as one of the best guitarists in the world, which truly makes this guitar unique!

Cort® is proud to introduce Luxe Nylon, a hybrid masterpiece that has been forged together with the legendary guitar maestro Frank Gambale as an answer to his long search for a nylon string guitar with fast and slimmer neck that most suits his intricate and sophisticated playing style. Taking design inspirations from his former signature model, the Luxe steel string guitar, the recurring elegant Art Deco theme can be found in the redesigned fingerboard inlays as well as soundhole rosette design, while the body is constructed using all-solid blackwood with heightened aesthetic beauty and rich balanced tone.

It was applied to MR710F, one of our most popular and widely successful acoustic guitars that is still being loved even after its initial release three decades ago. We are pleased to announce the launch of L710F, a special Luce series model in a smaller OM Cutaway body that bears the same honorable name and specs that made MR710F very popular, including features like Solid Sitka Spruce Top and Mahogany Back and Sides, sophisticated multiple abalone rosette, and Fishman® Presys preamp.

As Cort’s homage to the great vintage acoustic guitars, the Earth Series represents the look, sound, feel and playability of those fine instruments with uncompromising quality and excellent value. The Earth60 features the golden standard of acoustic guitars: Solid spruce top. Together with mahogany back and sides, this wood combination delivers the time-tested, signature bright yet full sounding tone that players all around love and desire, while the full-sized dreadnought body offers full body output and plenty of projection. The dark, open-pore finish of the Earth60M ensures the wood choice to resonate naturally. In terms of tonal quality, players will find that the Earth60M’s mahogany provides balanced dynamics, with ample bottom-end response that doesn’t inhibit the top-end.
