ICYMI, Alodia Gosiengfiao confirmed her breakup with Wil Dasovich. PhilStar reports that while playing League of Legends: Wild Rift on Facebook, Alodia said the decision was made because they weren't compatible. "Yung sentiment ko lang is 'sayang.' That's all. Again, things happen for a reason. I trust that gut feeling na may better plan for the both of us. 'Yon lang naiisip ko."
She added: "'Wag nang pilitin kung 'di naman talaga. It's not meant to be. I mean, we tried naman, 'di ba? So carry along. 'Di naman end of the world...Life goes on."
Rumors about Alodia Gosiengfiao and Wil Dasovich's breakup
Despite Alodia's statement about the separation, netizens have started speculating that the breakup involved a third party on Wil's side. The wild allegations started when social media personality and self-proclaimed "Marites" Xian Gaza posted a ~blind item~ on Facebook. For some reason, people's attention immediately went to Wil and Alodia.
And because he also posted cryptic messages about Barbie Imperial (who is currently in a relationship with Diego Loyzaga), netizens are assuming all the posts are related and that Barbie is somehow involved in the breakup.
Even if these are all just rumors, fans are jumping to conclusions and are showing their support for Alodia. "I'm a huge Alodia fan, kaya nalungkot talaga ako sa breakup nila Wil [and] Alodia. I'm hoping na magkaayos pa sila pero if ever totoo man ang kumakalat na chismis ngayon, then f*ck off Wil, Alodia deserves better." one passionate fan wrote.
Another netizen said: "If rumors are true, grabe ang kapal ng mukha ni Wil! Alodia was with him during his treatment for chemo. Alodia flies to US para alagaan siya. Tapos he repays it by cheating with Barbie. #cheatersneverwin"
Of course, there are many sensible netizens who are pointing out that we don't know the full story and that everyone should refrain from judging Wil. After all, no one has real proof. All we have are rumors at this point.
Wil, Alodia, and Barbie have not commented on the cheating allegations as of this writing.
