Are the Phillies High? Larry Bowa? Really?

Unsourced rumors abound of Bowa as bad cop in Philly. Please god, do not let this be true.

My search for "Larry Bowa flinging dung" turned up nothing. "Larry Bowa" turned up this.

No, really. I've been reading these stories this afternoon, having nightmare flashbacks.

Jim Salisbury claiming Bowa coming back "has been talked about" in the Phillies organization, hopefully followed by this.
Craig Calcaterra goes further than the others (below).
Zolecki talking to Bowa, but not mentioning any cray cray hiring talk.
Deitch covering the same territory as Z, above, with Bowa sounding like, gee, he'd be happy if the Phillies took him to the prom.

Hopefully, this is baseless, off-day malarky. Please, god. Let it be that. Please?
